CEO Blog - 15.3.24

Hi everyone,

I hope this message finds you well at the end of another eventful week.

As we look back on the past few days, I am filled with gratitude and pride for our incredible staff members who have gone above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of our young people.

I want to say a massive thank you to the staff from Samuel Laycock and Hollinwood Academy, along with our dedicated colleagues from the central team, for their outstanding efforts in delivering the first Disney residentials of 2024.

Their enthusiasm and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and I am truly impressed by the level of care and commitment they have shown.

These trips provide invaluable opportunities for our young people to learn, grow and create lasting memories.

I hope each of them takes this time to rest and recharge, knowing that their hard work has made a significant impact.

Sticking with the international theme...

...a few weeks ago I was thrilled to announce that New Bridge Group has been recognised with a series of Global Inclusion Awards.

These prestigious honours were collected on our behalf by Executive Director Shirley Woods-Gallagher at UNESCO this week, and are a testament to the dedication of everyone associated with our organisation.

I want to commend Shirley and each member of our team for embracing our shared vision of creating meaningful futures for all.

As we continue to aim for excellence and make a lasting impact in our community, I would like to shine a spotlight on Luke Sugden's remarkable fundraising efforts in support of the New Bridge Fund.

Luke will be taking on an ultramarathon on the 4th of May, and I urge you to show your support by sharing the donation link or making a contribution.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who rely on our collective efforts.

I hope each and every one of you has a well-deserved and happy weekend.

After such a busy week, with so much going on, I am truly grateful to be part of this amazing team.

Clare
