CEO Blog – 24.11.23

Happy Friday, everyone.

I’m keeping it brief this week, but I wanted to give you an update on what’s been going on behind the scenes at New Bridge…

I met with the Directors at New Bridge Horizons, talking about the exciting partnerships we build with families, as we aim to offer pathways and provision for our young people, once they reach 19 and beyond.

I have also spent some time with individual Headteachers and Executive Heads, discussing the strategic direction for our schools. This involved lots of positive conversation and it’s great to be surrounded and supported by such an experienced and enthusiastic team.

Looking ahead, I’m looking forward to attending Local Governing Body meetings to get to know our Governors better, ensuring communications across leadership and management of the Trust is of the high quality we need and expect. We also need to recruit more Governors for our schools, but we’re working on it.
