Happy Half Term!

As the first half term of the academic year comes to a close, I wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone associated with New Bridge all the best for a week’s rest.

The Autumn term is always full of challenges, with adjusting to new faces and places, getting back into routines and coping with the various bugs and viruses that do the rounds.

It’s also full of fun and learning though, for all of us, and it’s important to look back and see just how far we’ve come in a relatively short space of time.

Our children and young people are settled, our staff teams are into the swing of things, and our new premises are starting to feel like home.

This doesn’t happen by accident, and is testament to the work we all do to make each other feel safe, supported and able to learn.

Well done and thank you to everyone who has contributed to this first half term.

Staff, students, families, governors, trustees and stakeholders of all kinds, use the week off to recharge and enjoy some time with your loved ones.

The build up to Christmas (believe it or not) is just around the corner, but there are plenty of Autumn celebrations and in school events for us to look forward to even before then.

Happy Half Term!
